HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A PAYMENT TO PROCESS?
It can take between 1-3 business days for a payment to process when using Homeward.
If 7 business days have elapsed and you still do not see a payment deposited into your account please reach out to contact@homeward.co.
*Please note that federal holidays are not considered business days and are excluded from the count of 1–3 business days
DOES HOMEWARD COST ME OR MY TENANTS ANY MONEY TO COLLECT PAYMENTS?
Homeward is completely free to use and enjoy. We do not charge any fees during the payment process.
IS MY DATA PROTECTED WHEN USING HOMEWARD?
Homeward partners with industry leaders to ensure that all of your data and your tenant’s data is protected. All of our partners are PCI DSS Level-1 compliant. This means that all of your banking information and data is 2-bit encrypted and securely stored.
We limit the information stored on our servers to ensure the highest level of security. For example, credit card and banking information and background and credit checks are not stored on our servers.
Members of the Homeward team DO NOT have access to any sensitive information including, account passwords, account and routing numbers, or bank login credentials. All team members must undergo a training regiment before interacting with and handling customer data.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I INVITE A TENANT TO HOMEWARD?
When you invite a tenant to Homeward they receive an email and text message notifying them that they have been invited to begin making payments on Homeward.
The communication will include a link to download the app. Once they sign up they will be taken to a unique portal specific to their rent and unit details.
If your tenant does not sign up within 3 days of receiving the initial invite a follow up will be sent.
If a tenant has still not signed up after the follow up Homeward will continue to send monthly rent reminders and overdue rent reminders via text and email.
