Next, you need to fill in the address and add a picture if you would like. Once finished, you could see the different units on the screen.
Adding The Lease Information
To add lease info, select one of the vacant units and press on the ” start collecting rent” button
You will need to enter the Lease information; the lease start date, end date, or the month-to-month option.

Watch the video below to learn how to connect your bank account with Homeward.
After adding the bank account, the next step will be to enter the rent information; this includes the related bank account, rent amount, monthly due day, and late fees. You will also have the option to add a one-time payment. For example, security deposit or utility fees, which you can also add later.
Note that you can have different bank accounts linked to separate leases, so when you add the rent information choose the relevant bank
Inviting Your Tenants
Finally, it is time to invite your tenants. All you need is their full name and phone number. E-mail is optional but highly recommended for a successful onboarding process.
Once you send the invite, your tenants will receive a text
message with a link to download the app. Only invited tenants
can be associated with your properties.
To receive rent on time, Homeward offers your tenants an option to set up automatic rent payments and send reminders before the rent is due, raising the chances of getting your rent on time and avoiding any unnecessary confusion or mishaps.
Once their rent is being processed, you will receive a notification. It will take 2-3 business days to receive the payment, and yes, it is free for both sides, making rent collection a breeze for all.
